Learning to Listen
Here are some of my favorite designs. They are not large, rather they are additions to existing homes that were created by successfully implementing the clients’ vision.

Roslyn Farm, as originally named and imagined in 1938, was built as a culmination of the owners’ vision of a European Style Manor House situated in the rolling hills of Central Virginia. It’s undeniable established presence is reminiscent of endearing French Countryside while radiating welcoming Southern Charm and Character through its magnificent architecture, landscape design and historic gardens.
This unique property was acquired as an inspiring addition to Albrecht Properties real estate holding’s in 2015, at which point restorative revitalization began, directed by the owner, Sue A. Albrecht, a local Turnkey Design, Development and Build Entrepreneur.
Albrecht’s comprehensive vision is beyond contagious and began with renaming the farm to Roslyn Farm & Vineyard. Plans quickly unrolled to transform the property into a vibrant and renowned Agritourism Farm Estate through the addition of a Vineyard and Winery, an Equestrian Center, Farm Lodging and a Farm Wedding Stay and Event Venue. The revitalization has created a must see, one of a kind, family freindly environment for both locals and travelers.
Come and enjoy the rural richness of the many offerings of our centrally located farm in the heart of Charlottesville and the historic University of Virginia.
